- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp honey
Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1: Prepare the Shrimp
- Chop half of the shrimp into small pieces and place in a large mixing bowl.
- Place the other half in a food processor and pulse until a coarse paste forms. Add this paste to the bowl with the chopped shrimp.
Step 2: Combine Ingredients
- Add breadcrumbs, beaten egg, green onions, garlic, cilantro, parsley, lemon juice, lemon zest, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- Mix everything together until well combined. The mixture should be sticky and hold together.
Step 3: Form the Patties

- Shape each portion into a patty about 1/2 inch thick. Place the patties on a plate and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to firm up.
Step 4: Cook the Patties
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp patties. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Step 5: Make the Sauce
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha, lemon juice, and honey. Mix well until smooth.
Step 6: Assemble the Burgers
- Toast the burger buns if desired.
- Spread a generous amount of the sauce on the bottom bun.
- Place a shrimp patty on top of the sauce.
- Add lettuce, tomato slices, and any other desired toppings.
- Top with the other half of the bun.
Step 7: Serve and Enjoy
- Serve the shrimp burgers immediately with a side of fries, salad, or your favorite side dish.
